Dreaming of Phuket
It is no secret that Thailand is beautiful. The culture is warm and generous, the country is green and verdant, and the food is exotic and mesmerizing. Just when I thought I had encountered all there was to explore in this wonderful country, I was shocked to find that I had yet to investigate Thailand’s beaches.
Phuket, a large southern Thai island, has become known for having some of the most picturesque coastline in the world. With as many as fourteen beaches, there is no shortage of activities to do while visiting. Offering everything from recreational water sports, to relaxing at a peaceful spa, this island is known for it’s exotic nature mixed with relaxation and fun. The quintessential paradise, Phuket makes a perfect place to dream about while attempting to make it through the a lackluster Texas winter.
